Create a new channel
- As an administrator, log into your Alcméon instance
- Hover in the top-left corner of the screen in the Alcméon logo
- Wait until the panel opens and click on the Settings wheel
- Click on the Accounts menu item and then on the Connect an Account button in the rop-right corner
- Click on the Connect your inMessage account button
- In the form that opens, choose a name for your new channel to distinguish it from others, fill in an arbitrary string in the icon field, and click on the "Connect" button:
- After the new account is created, you are redirected to an account status page which displays de "Chat demo" link:
- In the chat demo page, you can click on the Alcmeon button located in the bottom right corner to open the demo chat window where you can test the experience customers will enjoy when they interact with your customer support agents:
- Finally, the user's messages can be accessed from your inbox:
